    Dear colleagues,

We invite you to join our PDW titled "Generative AI: Innovation and Competitive Strategies." This PDW discusses the crucial yet often overlooked question of how firms innovate and compete with AI technologies. To address this gap, we examine technology strategies for AI innovation and explore how Gen AI is reshaping competitive advantage and firm strategies across industries. This agenda addresses the broader implications of Gen AI for competitive strategy, including its influence on industry dynamics, competitive resources, and firm boundaries.

This PDW is the third iteration of an ongoing scholarly forum at AOM on Gen AI and strategy. Based on the successful discussions in prior years, we'd love to continue engaging discussions with the following amazing scholars:

    • Scott Stern (MIT)
    • Jorge Guzman (Columbia)
    • Gianluca Carnabuci (ESMT Berlin)
    • Jacqueline (Jackie) Lane (Harvard)
    • Shinjinee Chattopadhyay (U of Illinois Urbana-Champaign)
