AOM Panel Symposium: Reimagining Corporate Strategy and Boundary in the Age of Funds, Conglomerates, and Platforms

    Posted 5 hours ago

    Dear colleagues,

At AOM annual meeting in Philly this year, we are fortunate to bring together David Collis, Emilie R. Feldman, Koen H. Heimeriks, Paul Nary, and Arkadiy Sakhartov for a conversation on how corporate strategy is changing when value creation depends less on simply "owning" businesses and more on continuously reshaping how they are owned, governed, connected, and reconfigured.

If you are interested in corporate strategy, private equity, divestitures, ecosystems, platforms, or the changing boundaries of the firm, we would love to see you there.

We will discuss questions such as:

    - What happens when strategy increasingly unfolds across funds, platforms, alliances, divestitures, and portfolio-based forms of ownership?
    - Where do capabilities reside when learning and resources span firm boundaries?
    - How should we theorize governance when ownership and control systematically diverge?
