    Dear colleagues,
     
    On behalf of the organizing team, I am delighted to invite you - and especially your doctoral students and early-career colleagues - to the SEE Connect Workshop: Advancing Management Research in Southeastern Europe, taking place on October 2–3, 2026, at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON) in Belgrade, Serbia.
     
    SEE Connect is an Academy of Management initiative under the Community Accelerator Program (CAP), designed for doctoral students, young researchers, and early-career academics working across all areas of management research - including strategy, innovation, technology, and organizational studies. It is a unique opportunity to receive feedback from distinguished scholars and journal editors, form research teams, and build networks in the region.
     
    PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
     
    Keynote talks by Annamaria Conti (IE Business School) and Milan Mirić (USC Marshall School of Business, STR Division)
    CARMA Workshop: advanced research methodology training with Larry J. Williams (Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University) and Gilad Chen (Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, OB Division)
    "Navigating the Journal Review Process": keynote panel with insights from leading journals
    "Why Join the AoM Divisions?": panel with AOM division representatives, including Patia McGrath (Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, TIM Division) in addition to the previously mentioned professors
    Parallel research sessions: each accepted proposal is assigned an expert discussant, and journal editors and senior scholars participate throughout the workshop
     
    CALL FOR PROPOSALS
    We welcome research summaries at all stages of development - from early project ideas to more developed work. Theoretical and empirical contributions using any methodology are welcome.
     
    Length: up to 600 words (excluding references), in English
    Format: MS Word or PDF
    Suggested structure: title; researcher(s) and affiliation; antecedents/objectives/theory/hypotheses; methodology or intervention (if any); results (if any); theoretical and practical implications, limitations, and future research (if any)

    IMPORTANT DATES AND FEES
    Submission deadline: September 8, 2026
    Acceptance notifications: September 15, 2026
    Registration deadline: September 25, 2026 (registration link to follow)
    Fee: EUR 150 (EUR 100 for PhD students)
