You are cordially invited to the interactive workshop "Space, Place, Geography and Organisations: Exploring Connections" that will take place on September 7, 2026 (9am-5:30pm, see flyer attached) at UCL School of Management in London. Please Save The Date!
This in-person-only workshop aims to bring together scholars engaging with space, place, geography and organisations from different disciplines and perspectives, including conversations that do not always have the opportunity to meet. Rather than a traditional paper presentation format, the event will be designed as a workshop centered on open discussion, exchange, and networking (we will keep PowerPoint to a minimum!).
We aim at creating a space for dialogue across several themes, including:

organisational space and spatial practices;

micro-geography, proximity, and the physical built environment;

place, culture, meanings, and identity;
-
cities, regions, and neighborhoods;
-
infrastructure and meso-geography;
-
distributed, virtual spaces and places.
The programme is currently under development and will be made available soon.
The event will be free of charge and a registration link will follow soon in July. For now, if these topics resonate with you, please mark your calendar and feel free to circulate this save-the-date among colleagues who may share this interest.
